The development of a regulatory approved, SSWI through-tubing wireline deployed insert valve, utilizing the existing hydraulic control lines, would serve to eliminate the requirement of a MRWO to replace the SCSSV in order to continue producing operations.
19002 Electric surface controlled subsurface safety valves (eSCSSV)
All electric downhole will include:
Electric downhole safety valve (eSCSSV) Electric annulus safety valve (eASV) – relevant for wells with gas lift
Robust penetrators and connectors for power and signal transfer through the wellhead
This proposal covers only the eSCSSV which together with robust penetrators and connectors are seen as the most critical items to get started with All Electric downhole.
Enabling Ultra DeepWater & Longer Distance Tie-Backs with TCP-PIP (TCPIP)
PIP is expensive to produce and due to high top tensions considerably more costlythan wet insulated pipeline to install. Engineered composite in pipe (ECIP) replaces the inner steel pressure containing pipeline with a suitable, lightweight, thermoplastic composite pipe (TCP).

A business case study project is designed to provide the parties a better understanding of the value the MHI EX ROVR Autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle can bring in representative environments and tasks as well as the site infrastructure needed to deploy this system
Evaluation of Hairy-Nanoparticles to Prevent Asphaltene Deposition in the Near-Well Region
Asphaltene fouling at near-wellbore region is difficult to remediate due to the large quantity of solvent needed and significant loss of production. If the proposed project generates a new squeeze treatment, significant savings will be realized.
Subsea desanding to increase lifetime of subsea boosting equipment and improved recovery
System design - Concept and detailed process and mechanical equipment design with specifications, main components, valves, instruments, piping, and layout. Fabricate fully functional skid system based on detailed design work, including factory functional test. Automation of ESP operation for extended run-life and production optimization

Sand production due to failed or partially failed downhole completion hardware is becoming an increasingly limiting issue to full production capabilities. Utilize shallow-water or land sand control remediation solutions is anticipated to be low Probability of Success (POS). Developing higher POS solutions, through-tubing, utilizing SSWI techniques are anticipated to enhance well productivity at much lower cost of investment.
Development of autonomous plant operation robot that can be used for unmanned plant inspection, monitoring and operations based on mature robotic technologies.
Advancement of a novel technology for tracking robotic inspectors and personnel in non-lineof-sight, GPS-denied environments relevant for Oil & Gas industry.
Pigging operations in large diameter deepwater gas lines for integrity and/or solids management can generate significant liquid surges on topsides or receiving processing facilities.
Collect initial data on transient hydrate risk in gas dominated flows with low spots and accumulation points – such as JT cooling across subsea chokes into well jumpers, JT cooling during blowdown & relief events in the presence of no Thermodynamic Hydrate Inhibitor (or) Underdosed THI condition.
Infrastructure, Power and Subsea Chemical Storage & Injection
Perform an investigation to determine how subsea production equipment and other advanced technology being developed by industry could be integrated into a subsea production system, suitable for long distance subsea tiebacks through the use of advanced technologies, to achieve (1) Lower capital costs; (2) increased production and ultimate recovery; and, (3) improved operational flexibility and efficiency.
