The proposed scope of work will provide an example of validation testing to support the verification analysis demonstrating independent usage of API 17TR8 previously completed.
The development of a regulatory approved, SSWI through-tubing wireline deployed insert valve, utilizing the existing hydraulic control lines, would serve to eliminate the requirement of a MRWO to replace the SCSSV in order to continue producing operations.
Evaluate fitness of existing risers and capability of current in-situ inspection methods; develop a process to safely maximize the use of existing riser systems.
DeepStar is currently finalizing the details for the following projects.
Automation of ESP operation for extended run-life and production optimization.
Sand production due to failed or partially failed downhole completion hardware is becoming an increasingly limiting issue to full production capabilities. Utilize shallow-water or land sand control remediation solutions is anticipated to be low Probability of Success (POS). Developing higher POS solutions, through-tubing, utilizing SSWI techniques are anticipated to enhance well productivity at much lower cost of investment.
Development of autonomous plant operation robot that can be used for unmanned plant inspection, monitoring and operations based on mature robotic technologies.
Advancement of a novel technology for tracking robotic inspectors and personnel in non-lineof-sight, GPS-denied environments relevant for Oil & Gas industry.
Pigging operations in large diameter deepwater gas lines for integrity and/or solids management can generate significant liquid surges on topsides or receiving processing facilities.
Collect initial data on transient hydrate risk in gas dominated flows with low spots and accumulation points – such as JT cooling across subsea chokes into well jumpers, JT cooling during blowdown & relief events in the presence of no Thermodynamic Hydrate Inhibitor (or) Underdosed THI condition.
Infrastructure, Power and Subsea Chemical Storage & Injection
Perform an investigation to determine how subsea production equipment and other advanced technology being developed by industry could be integrated into a subsea production system, suitable for long distance subsea tiebacks through the use of advanced technologies, to achieve (1) Lower capital costs; (2) increased production and ultimate recovery; and, (3) improved operational flexibility and efficiency.
